Psychotherapy and Nutrition Therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Dietitian with Healthy Lifestyles PLLC, I offer Psychotherapy and Nutrition therapy services in Allen and Plano, TX.

Psychotherapy and Nutrition therapy can be used alone or together, depending on what you need, to meet your physical, emotional and nutritional health needs. We will:

.
  • Work through past and present road blocks that have left you stuck, frustrated and overwhelmed with negative feelings.
  • Identify the triggers that have lead to depression, anxiety,  negative body thoughts and repetitive self destructive behaviors around food, alcohol and/or drugs.
  • Create new styles of thinking, communication and behavior to help you free the energy from that negativity.
  • Develop long term strategies to manage the stress and anxiety and your dependence on food, drugs or alcohol.
  • Create your very own tool kit to help you stay focused on your goals and care for yourself with self care activities and behaviors so that you don't need to use alcohol, drugs, food or eating behavior.
  • Help you develop a new healthier  more individualized style of eating - NOT RESTRICIVE  DIETING- that meets your nutritional needs and fits into your lifestyle.
  • Enlist the help of your close and supportive family and friends and coach them on how to effectively  support you in your recovery.
  • Help you develop a more enjoyable, acceptable and nurturing relationship with food, yourself and your body.

....so that you can embrace a life defined by your goals, self acceptance, and success in managing your emotions and behavior.
